Services During Construction & Undefined Services <br /> Task 15. Construction Management Services <br /> Construction Management Services are to be added by addendum at a later date. <br /> Task 16. Undefined Services <br /> As it is difficult to accurately determine the nature of all features required for this project (e.g., <br /> design requirements of regulatory agencies, evolving permitting requirements, staging area <br /> requirements, coordination issues with WSDOT,unanticipated land acquisition activities, etc.), a <br /> contingency fund representing approximately 10 percent of the total engineering/permitting costs <br /> is included in this task. The funds included in this task cannot be utilized without prior written <br /> approval from the City of Everett. <br /> V. Additional Services <br /> The following services are not included in the basic services and will be considered extra work to <br /> be performed by the Engineer, if authorized by contract amendment. <br /> A. Additional Mitigation / Conservation Measures Design/Permitting. As requested by the <br /> City, provide planning, design, and permitting of additional mitigation or conservation <br /> measures beyond the standard ESC measures and 1:1 onsite restoration planned, if required <br /> by regulatory agencies. <br /> B. Additional wetland delineation field survey work. <br /> C. Provide potholing determined appropriate for the project for any non-city owned utilities. <br /> D. Complete one test boring and laboratory testing (if requested) located near the east end of <br /> Phase 6 to provide subsurface information for design and construction of a buried pipeline <br /> section. This boring would be drilled to a depth of 10 feet below the invert elevation of the <br /> pipeline. <br /> E. Provide cathodic protection system design for revisions to existing cathodic protection <br /> systems due to connection piping modifications, or other needs, if required. <br /> F. Provide On-Site Mill Inspections.
