7 <br /> • EXHIBIT A-3 <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> 6. Progress Payment Requests. Review contractor's monthly progress payment requests, <br /> including Engineer's recommendations and submit to the City for approval and <br /> payment. <br /> 7. Weekly Job Site Meetings. Prepare agenda and conduct regularly scheduled weekly <br /> job meetings (one per week) with Contractor to review the progress of the work and <br /> identify and address field problems as they occur. Reports of any significant <br /> concerns and problems will be recorded and forwarded to the City. Budget is <br /> provided for the Engineer to attend up to 55 weekly job site meetings. <br /> 8. Monitor Contractor Construction Schedule. Monitor Contractor's compliance with <br /> construction schedule based upon monthly CPM updates submitted by the Contractor. <br /> Assist the City in verification, documentation, and/or negotiation of time extensions <br /> requested by the Contractor. Evaluate potential schedule impacts of all change order <br /> work. <br /> 9. Maintain Files. Maintain orderly electronic records and files at the job site. These <br /> records and files shall include: <br /> • Daily reports <br /> • Preconstruction and construction progress photos and videotapes <br /> • Maintain complete set of updated contract documents including drawings, <br /> addenda, proposal, general provisions, special provisions, shop drawings and <br /> change orders <br /> • Test reports <br /> • Survey notes including cut sheets (as provided by the Contractor) <br /> • Transmittal records <br /> • Record of weather and wet days and tide levels <br /> • Contractor payment requests and prevailing wage certifications <br /> • Shop drawing transmittal records <br /> • Construction correspondence <br /> Standard forms, provided by Engineer will be used where applicable, for records and <br /> reporting procedures. At completion of the work, and prior to final acceptance, <br /> provide the City with all completed field books, project daily reports, summary <br /> tabulations of all installed bid breakdown quantity items, all field notes, and other job <br /> records as listed. <br /> 10. Formal Acceptance, Review and Recommendation. Make recommendations to the <br /> City concerning operational acceptance, substantial completion, and final acceptance <br /> of the work. Include review of the requests for extension of time by the Contractor. <br /> Include recommendation for assessment of liquidated damages, if applicable. <br /> B. Field Engineering Services.
