� <br />� <br />a. An assumed property line for building separation, referenced in tlie cocle <br />analysis, should be shown on tl�e architectural site plan, per IBC section 705.3. <br />b. Area of openings, based on fire separation dis:ance and degree of opening <br />protection, per IBC table 705.8, should be show� on the elevations, where the <br />separation from the assumed property line is less than 20 feet. <br />c. Roof covering requirements should be shown on drawings, per IE3C table 1505.1. <br />�. Tested materials and installation requirements for rated assemblies required between <br />units should be fully identified on the drawing details, in addition to referencing the <br />rated assembly number. The UL tested assembly is not located at the jobsite, and tl�e <br />inspectors and contractor require the ieference materials full induded on the drawings <br />issued for permit. Plan review cannot be completed without this informalion. <br />a. For example, the partition type E, shown on A7.0, should indicate specific <br />(proprietary or generic) materials which have been tested to meet the STC 50 <br />ratings in the tested assembly, in addition to the one hour fire resistance rating, <br />per IBC sections 1207.2 and IBC section 709.1 (4). <br />3. Nlinimum tread and maximum riser dimensions for stairs should be shown on the <br />drawings at all building stairs, and at accessible routes, per IBC section 1009.4.2. <br />4. Handrail and guard details and dimensions should be shown on the drawings at all <br />building stairs, and at the accessible routes, including heights, per IBC sedions 1012 <br />and 1013. <br />5. Exteric: door hardware sets and common areas should be shown on the drawings to <br />meet the requirements for new doors and should be identified on the door schedule to <br />not require tight grasping, pinching or twisting of the wrist to operate, per IBC section <br />1008.9.1. <br />6. Compliance witli mechanical or natural ventilation, and exhaust requirements should be <br />shown on the architectural dra�vings, per IBC section 1203.1 and IMC table 403.3 <br />ventilation rates. <br />7. One hour fire resistant tested assemblies sfiould be sliown on the drawings for <br />residential unit separation, including the STC and IIC rating requirements, and <br />mechanical and lighting penetration details, per IBC sections 1Z07, 71�, 713, 709, and <br />4Z0.2 and 97_03. <br />8. Compliance with emergency escape windows shou!d be shown on the drewings per IBC <br />section 1029. <br />9. Compliance with lempered glazing should be shown on the drawings per IBt ;ection <br />2406.4 <br />Accessibility <br />1. The per building determination of minimum requirements for Type A, e, and accessible <br />units should be shown in the code analysis as an application of lhe requirements cited in <br />� � <br />
