The foilowing wetland functionat value assessment was conducted for each wetland i
on the project site (Tsble 1). This assessment was based on Reppert's methodology
which assigns values to the physical, biological, and human use characteristics of
wetlands, and employs best professional judgment.
TABLE 1. A major limiting factor for the wildlife
use of the site is its isolation within a heavily developed area. The site, however,
does contain moderate value wildlife habitat due to the interspersion of forested
upland and wetland habitats. The site's proximity to Merrill and Ring Creeks also
increases the site's value as wildlife habitat.
Wetland and Strom Study RepoR TNasaea CoasuRants
Mertin Croek Apartmanb 5 08w+W.rpt
Fabrury 20,1998
