36. Landscaping will be required for surface ponds and bnsins to provide screening and an <br /> aesthetically pleasing appeazance. A landscape plan must be submitted and approved during plan <br /> review. Landscaping shall be planted above the h�gh water mark and may be required to be <br /> included in a separate tract under common ownership. Installation of the lundscaping per the <br /> approved plan is required before final approval. <br /> 37. Discharge of water to wetlands should mimic natural discharges as much as is feasible. Point <br /> source discharges should not be created �vhere they do not naturally occur. Techniques that result <br /> in dispersed discharge, such as dispersion trenches or buried perforated pipe located at wetland <br /> buffer edges,can be used to mimic .�aturally occurring sheet flow into wetlands. <br /> 38. Per City Policies, due to the proximity of the site to environmentally sensitive areas, seasonal <br /> limitations will be placed on land alteration activities on the site. Land alteration activities are <br /> defined in the city's D�,iEn �nd onctr�etion St�ndards `nd Speci_fications as clearing, grubbing, <br /> eacavation, filling, erading, and stockpiling. Determination of the e�act seasonal limitation penod <br /> requires site specific information generally not available until the project's design stage. Ho«�ever, <br /> preliminary analysis using the infortnation available at this time indicates that clearing and land <br /> alteration activities on the project site will be restricted to the period between April 1 and October <br /> 1. <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION <br /> 1. The Police Department has the following security recommendations: <br /> a. Lighting of the parking lot should be a minimum of 3-4 foot candles. <br /> b. A monitored fire and intrusion alarm s}�stem zoned for each entity should be provided. To <br /> provide protection in case of armed robbery, include remote panic buttons and/or foot trip <br /> if using customer counter. <br /> c. If offices will be handling cash, an actual money safe should be installed (for next day <br /> receipts only). Seismic detectors and passive infrared alarm sensors should also be <br /> installed in the room. <br /> d. The perimeter doors should be solid core or metal with double cylinder dead-bolts <br /> installed. If doors open to the ou?°+�e. or hinges are exposed, pin hinges should be <br /> provided. <br /> e. If store front glass doors are part of the project, they should have locking case bolts top and <br /> buttom. The door should have a maximum se,:urity dead-bolt with 1 3/4" throw and 3/�l" <br /> laminated steel. <br /> f. Metal security bay doors can be secured with 3/S" case-hardened steel hasps or chain and <br /> padlocks with 1!2" case-hardened st:el shackles. <br /> g. The more office windows that aze visible to the parking area, the safer the area is from <br /> assaults and thefrs. <br /> h. If utilizing fencing, it should be E feet chain link. <br /> i.
