(11) The Contractor further agrees to comply with the prcvisions of RCN 39.16.005 concerning percentage of resident employees. (12) The Contractor agrees to furnish bond as required by RCW 39.08.010 in the form set forth in the Contract. (13) It is understood that the whole of the work under this Contract is to be done at the Contractor's risk, and that he has familiarized himself with the conditions of demolition, excavation, backfill, materials, climatic conditions, and other contingencies likely to affect the work, and has made his bid accordingly, and that he is to assume the resFonsibility and risk of all loss or damage to materials or work which may arise from any cause whatsoever prior to completion. (14) Contractor shall secure and maintain during the life of this Contract minimum Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance Coverage in the minimum amount of $500,000 for death or injury to any one person and E1,000,000 for death or injury to two or more persons in any one occurrence and E100,000 for Property Damage in any one occurrence with any aggregate Property Damage coverage of 5100,000 for two or more occurrences from an insurance company authorized to do business in the State of Washington. Said insurance coverage may be superseded by addenda or other provisions of the Contract. City, its officers, employees and agents shall be an additional named insured on said insurance in a form acceptable to the City Attorney. (15) The Contractor shall secure all municipal, county or state permits or licenses necessary or incident to the actual performance of the work under this Contract, and shall, during its progress, comply with all laws, ordinances, and governmental regulations pertaining to carrying out of the work. (16) The Contractor shall not be entitled to any claim for damages or of hindrances or delays from any cause whatsoever, but if occasioned by any act of God, or by any act or omission on the part of the City, such act, hindrance, or delay may entitle the Contractor to an extension of time in which to complete the work which shall be determined by the Building Official, PROVIDED THA? the Contractor will give notice in writing of the cause of such act, hindrance, or delay within ten (10) days after its occurrence. (17) The Contractor agrees to comply with RCW 49.28.020, .060, .110 prohibiting the employment of employees more than eight (8) hours in any one day, except in case of emergency, and provided that said Contract is terminable in case the Contractor shall violate the provisions of such act. 3
