Fills more than 2 fcet bencatli sidcwalks and pa��emcnt subgradcs should be compacted ro at <br />Icast 90 percent of thcir maximum dry density. Thc moisture content of the soils to be compacted should <br />he within about 2 percent of optimum so that a rcadily-compactable condition exists.
