Plans for any such system shall be submitted to the Building Department for examination and <br /> approval. Such plans shall include plans for the underground mains that will supply the sprinkler <br /> system. <br /> The type of sprinkler to be installed will be determined by the Building Official. It may be an NFPA <br /> 13,NFPA 13P, or NFPA 13D system dcpending upon several factors. Spriokler installation shall <br /> not begin without an approved and stamped set ot plans from the Building Department. The <br /> Pire Department will also review the plans and shall field inspect the installation based only on <br /> approved plans that must bc on site. Changes to plans must be approved by both the Building and <br /> �ire Dcpartments. <br /> Aboveground sprinklcr piping shafl be hydrostatically tested as established in NFPA Standazd 13. <br /> Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as established in NFPA Standazd 24 <br /> for private fire mains. (Iielow-eround ainine must be installed bv Washinaton State Patrol <br /> Licensed Undereround Sprinkler linc certified "U" installers.
