Disconnect houae switch to qarage power and <br />provide liqht switch juat inaide garage walk- n door. <br />Re�.lace ceiling light with new porcelain light fixture <br />connected to switch at do��r. Wire in a new receptacle <br />to ceiling next to the garage door opener and plug in <br />openec cord. Add onc duplex wall receptacle at location <br />selected by the owner. <br />Al1 new electrical work shall comply with the <br />requirements of the National Electrical Code, 1981 <br />edition. <br />` / ` <br />6. Insulation Install R-19 batt insulation between new <br />2 x 6�studs next to basement cencrete wall in area of <br />bathroom - laundry room remodel. See drawings. .. <br />Insulate house ittic to R-30 and add ver:tilation over as <br />needed to meet code. � <br />Insulate all water lines that may freeze with foam type <br />inaulation wrap.. <br />�i, <br />7. Aeating and Drywall Work Heatinq. Provide heat to <br />the new bathroom, laundry-family room area and the <br />aouthwest bedcoom by wocking with the exlsting gas <br />furnace system addfnq duct work and openinqs as needed <br />to gfve adequate heat to these areas. Repair bandaged <br />hole on the west side of lucnace with appropriate aheet <br />metal materials. <br />Drywall. Install 1/2" gypsum wal�board to all walls and <br />ceilings of the new bathroom and laundry room including <br />both sides uf the laundry room new south wall and the <br />short hall wall at the new bathroom entrance. See <br />attached drawings. Cover all existing metal heat ducts <br />at the ceilings in these two rooms and throughout the <br />other basement area with the same wallboard adding <br />furring strips where needed. Also finish ofP the new <br />closet in the north bedroom and the existing closet in <br />the scuth bedroom of the basement with sheetrock <br />(furring strips may be needed).
