Page 5 of 4ti <br />C. Authorized Discharecs: <br />1. Stormwater Associated with Construction Activitv. Subject to compliance with the <br />terms and conditions of this permit, Permrttees are authorized to discharge <br />stormwater associated with conshvction activity to surface waters of the state or to a <br />storm sewer system that drains to surface waters of the state. <br />2. Stortnwater Associa'ed with Conswction Suonort Activ_itv. This permit also <br />authorizes stormwater discharges from support acnvihes related to the permitted <br />construction site (e.g., off-site equipment staging yards, material storage areas, <br />borrow ateas, etc.) provided: <br />a. The support activiry is directly related to the permitted construction site that is <br />required to have an NPDES permit; and <br />b. The support activiry is not a commercial operation scrving multiple unrelated <br />constn�ction projecu, and does not operate beyond the completion of the <br />construction activity; and <br />c. Appropriate controls and measures aze identified in the Stormwater Pollution <br />Preventiai Plan (SWPPP)for the discharges from the support activity areas. <br />3. Non-Stormwarer Discharees. The categories and sources of non-stormwater <br />discharges idcntified below are conditionally authorized, provided the discharee is <br />consistent with the tcrms and conditions of this permit: <br />a. Discharges from fire fighting activities; <br />b. Firc hydrant systcm flusl�ing; <br />c. Potable water including uncontaminated water line flushing (de-chlorinated); <br />d. Pipcline hydrostatic test water; <br />e. Uncontaminated air conditioning or compressor condensate; <br />f. Uncontaminated ground warer or spring water; <br />g. Uncontaminated cxcavation de-ti+�ateririg (in accordance with S9.D.10) <br />h. Uncontaminated discharges from foundation or footing drains; <br />i. Water used to control dusr, <br />j. Routine estemal building wash down that does not use detergents; and <br />k. Landscape irrigation. <br />
