A few examples of source r,ontrol <br />BMPs are erosion control practices, maintenance of stormwater facilities, constructing roofs over <br />storage and working arcas, and directing wash water and similar discharges to the sanitary sewer <br />or a dcad end sump. <br />Stnbili=nrion mcans the application of appropriate BMPs to prevent the erosion of soils, such as, <br />temporary and permanent seedine, vegetative covers, mulching and matting, plastic covering and <br />sodding. Sec also the definition of Erosion and Sediment Control BMPs. <br />Storm Drain mcans any drain which dr�ins direcQy into a srorm sei+�er srstem, usually found <br />along road�vays or in parking lots. <br />Storm Sex�er Svsten� means a means a conveyance, or system of conveyances (including roads <br />widi drainage systems, municipal streets, catch basins, curbs, gutters, ditches, manmade <br />channels, or storm drains designed or used for collecting or conveying stormwater. This dces <br />not include systems whicU are part of a comGined seiver or Publicly O�vned Treatment Works <br />(POTW) as deGned at 40 CFR 122.2. <br />
