P�RT OF EVERETT SECTION O1020 <br />NORTH MARINA REDEVELOPMENT MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br />SHALLOW SOIL VCP CLE�yNUP ACTION <br />C. 1TEM NO. 3: UTILITY PROTECTION/RESTOR �TION <br />l. Work under this ilem includes locating, marking, protecting, and physically <br />supporting existing active utilities within and near the work azea that could <br />potentially be damaged by the Contractor's work under this Contract, and any <br />restoration�repair of onsite utilities within or neaz the work area needed to restore the <br />utilities to their pre-existing conditions. <br />2. Payment for utility protection/restoration shall be on the basis of the lump sum price <br />st�ted in the Contractor's bid price for this pay item. Measurement for this pay item <br />shall be estimated on the basis of the percent complete, relative to the overal] bid <br />price and the actual progress toward project completion. <br />3. The lump sum price for this work is all inclusive, and includes all overhead and <br />profit. <br />D. ITEM NO. 4: STORMWATER MANAGEMENT <br />1. Work undcr this item in;ludes: diverting stormwater from adjacent areas to lirc�it <br />runoff from entering the excavation(s); installing catch basin filters and temporary <br />plugs into existing storni drain lines that are located within or near tl�e work azca; <br />installing all neccssary temporary sedimentation and erosion control measures <br />needed to protect partially completed work and prevent sediment transport from <br />exposed soil surfaccs and temporazy stockpiles to surface water or adjacent non- <br />work areas; and management of stormwater in accordance with the Specifications <br />and the SWPPP Supplement. <br />2.
