ITEM NO. 8: LOAD AND TRANSPORT CONTAMINATED SOIL TO INERT <br />WASTE DISPOSAL FACILITY <br />1. Work under this item includes loading and transporting designated inert waste to the <br />Rinker Materials disposa] facility in Evcrett, Washington. This item also includes <br />proper manifesting of the material, obtaining documentation ceRi1'� ing the total <br />weight of material treated and disposed at the facility, and submitting such <br />documentation to the GC/CM or the Port. <br />2. Payment for loading and transporting contaminated soil for inert waste disposal shall <br />be on the basis of tons of soil transported and disposed at the designated facility, at <br />the unit price stated in the Contractor's bid price for this pay item. Measurement for <br />this pay item shall be deterniined on the basis of legible copies of ceriified �vcight <br />reccipts or othcr documentation of weight from the disposal faciliry. Costs <br />associated �vith material disposal 2re excluded from this pay item and will be paid by <br />the Pori under scparate contract with the disposal facility (GC/CM to manage). <br />:;. The unit price for this work is all inclusive, and includes a�l overhead and profit. <br />I. 1TEM NO. 9: LOAD AND TRANSPORT CONTAMINATED SOIL TO SOLID <br />WASTE DISPOSAL FACILITY <br />1. Work under this item includes loading and transporting contaminated soil to <br />Rabanco's transfer station for subsequent rail car transCer to the Roosevelt Regional <br />Landfill. This itcm also includes proper manifesting of the material, obtaining <br />documentation from thc disposal facility certifying the total weight of material <br />disposed at thc land�ll, and submitting such documentation to the GGCM or the <br />Pori. <br />2. Payment for loading and transporting contaminated soil for disposal shall be on the <br />Uasis of tons of material transported and disposed at the designated facility, at the <br />unit price stated in the Contractor's bid price for this pay item. Measurement for this <br />pay item shali be deterniined on the basis of legible copies of certified weight <br />receipts or od�er documentation of weight from the disposal facility. Costs <br />associatcd �vith material disposal are eacluded from this pay item and will be paid by <br />Uie Pori under separate contract with the disposal facility (GGCM to manage). <br />3.
