PORT OF EVERETT NORTH MARINA REDEVELOFMENT SHALLOW SOIL VCP CLEANUP ACTION 1.05 EQUI}'MENT DECONTAMINATION A. Confortn to the provisions of Section 01564. PART 2 - PRODUCTS 2.01 HGALTi1 AND SAFLTY PLAN SECTION 01350 HEAL'1'H AND SAFETY A. Prepaze and maintain for the duration of this Contract a site-specific health and safety plan to promotc thc health and protection of all onsite personnel and the environment. The plan shall be consistent �vith the requirements of Part ] of'this Section. B. Assess the potential risks to onsite personnel and the environment and develop its site- speci6c health and safety plan to safely exccute the work under this Contrsct. Contractor shall submit the health and safety plan to the Port for review and general concurrence. The Port's review a��d concuttcnce with Contractor's health and safety plan shall not in any way relieve Contractor of its responsibility for health and safety, nor shall the Port's concurrence be construed as limiting in any manner Contractor's obligation to underiake actions that may be necessazy or required to establish and maintain safe working conditions at thc sitc, including conditions not related to hazardous materials, nor shall the Port's concuncnce be construcd as cstablishing the Port in a position of responsibility fbr implementation or administration of Contractor's health and safety plan. C. Contractor and sabcontrlctors shall comply with the site-specific health and safety plan for thc duration oT this Contract. Contractor shall coordinate with thc Pori and with all of its subcontraclors on hcalth and safety matters. Conlractor shall furnish all necessary lirst-aid, safety, personal protective and decontamination equipment and facilities and cnforce the use of such cquipment and facilities by its cmployees and its subcontractors of any tier. D. As a minimum, Contractor'� sitc-specific health and safety plan shall include: L A description of the site activitics to be perFormed. 2. A listing of ha�ardous substnnces known to be, or suspected of being, present at the site. 3. A dcscription of'the site chemical hazards (e.g., toxicity, flammability, stabiliry, rcnctivity, etc.), including the nature of cach chemical; its physical properties; OS} IA, WISHA, or ACGIH standards, �vhere established; and physical hazards (e.g., noisc, hcavy equipment, hcat stress, ci�.). 4. A map of the site showing the known and possiblc locations of the chemical substances, and the proposed work activity locations and evacuation routes. 5.
