Provide security, as required by Contractor's site-specific health and safety plan,l'or <br />control of personncl and equipment traffic betH�een contaminated and uncontaminated <br />work areas. <br />1.03 AVAILABLE SPACES AND RESTRICTIONS ON ACCESS <br />A. Available areas for staging of construction equipment and material transfer/storage <br />within or near the work areas shall be limited to areas designated by the GGCM. <br />B. The primary roadways within and near the site are the only regular access routes by <br />which the Port's tena�its, their employees, and their customers, as well as police, fire, <br />and other emergency vehicular traffic, can access certain businesses within the project <br />site. Coordinate tlie work to provide reasonable access for these people to the businesses <br />within and near the site. Contractor shall coordinate with the Port and the GC�CM <br />regarding any required full or partial roadway closings in order to provide reasonable <br />notice to these businesses. <br />C. Contractor will be granted access to and use of the site as required to complete the work, <br />subject to the following limitations and restrictions; <br />1. Contractor shall schedule and sequence the work in a manner that min:mizes the <br />adverse effect and duration of construction activities on the Port's tenants, their <br />employces, and their customers. <br />2. Contractor shall provide all necessary controls, including fencing, gates, and <br />appropriate signage to prevent access to, and to ensure the safety of, public <br />individuals and tenants and their employees and customers in the vicinity of the work <br />arens. This includes Contractor's requirement to install temporary fencing around <br />the work areas as appropriate, and to maintain and adjust fencing and gates as <br />rcquired as work areas arc closed to and re-opened for use by others. <br />3. Contractor shall prevent any contaminated soil, water, or other contaminants from <br />spilling onto the ground bcyond the exclusion zone or entering cxisting stormwater <br />management facilities. Equipment and personnel leaving the exclusion zone shall be <br />decontaminated if im�olved with handling of contaminated materials. <br />PAR'1' 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS AND EQUIPn1ENT <br />A.
