PORT OF EVERETT <br />W MARINE VIEW DR <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />Electrical Splice Materials <br />Illumination Circuit Splices <br />Section 9-29.12(1) is supplemented with the tollowing: <br />Temporary splices shali be the heat shrink type. <br />Construction Requirements <br />Section 8-20.3 is supplemented with the fo!lowing: <br />CIP NO. 3-0-003-09 <br />PROJECTNO. <br />PD-WM-20006-01 <br />(.. ..) <br />Electrical Order of Work <br />The existing illuminaGon system shall remain operational until the new illumina6on system is <br />operational to the satisfacGon of the Engineer. <br />Poles designated for removal shall not be removed prior f�-� ��-� . lhe Enyineer. <br />Removals <br />Removals associated with the electrical system shall not be stockpile� within the job site without <br />the Engineers approval. <br />A po�ion of the existing electrical equipment to be removed shall remain the property of the <br />Contracting Agency. <br />The following shall be disconnected, dismantled, and delivered to the City of Everett. <br />All temoved 30 ft. Concrete Light Standards and luminaires on West Marine View Drive. <br />Remove all wires from salvaged light and signal standards. <br />All removals associated wilh an electrical system, which are not designated to remain the <br />property of the Contracting Agency, shall become the property of the Contractor and shail be <br />removed from the project. <br />The Contractor shall: <br />Remove all wires for discontinued circuits from the conduit system. <br />Remove elbow sections of abandoned conduit entering junction boxes. <br />Abandoned conduit encountered during excavation shall 6e removed to the nearest outlets <br />or as directed by the Engineer. <br />Remove foundations entirely, unless the Plans state othenvi�e. <br />Backfill voids created by remo��al of foundations and junction boxes. Backfilling and <br />compaction shall be perfortned in accordance with Secfion 2-09.3(1)E. <br />Page 40 of 50 <br />
