Steel sign posts which support signs with Aashing beacons shall <br />also have supplemental grounding. Foundations for these standards shall be installed with a <br />bare, 6 ANlG <br />copper wire that is connected to the reinforcing cage with an approved acom ciarc�p or <br />exothertnic weld and routed to connect to the pole at the grounding lug. <br />Measurement <br />Section 8-20.4 is s� lemented with the follawing: <br />No measurement will be made for "Illumination System-West Marine Vew Drive'. <br />Pavment <br />Section 8-20.5 ;a supplemented with the following: <br />Payment will be made in accordance with Section 1-04.1, for each of the foll��wing bid items that a2 <br />;ncluded in the proposal: <br />"Ilumination Systern- West Marine View Drive', lump sum. <br />The lump sum contract price for'lllumination System• West Marine View Drive shall be full pay <br />for the construction of the complete electrical system, modifying existing systems, or both, as <br />shown in the Plans and herein specified including excavation, backfilling, concrete foundafions, <br />conduit, wiring, restoring facilities destroyed or damaged during construction, salvaging existing <br />materials, and for making all required tests. All additional materials and labor, not shown in the <br />Plans or called for herein and which are required to complete the electrical system, shall be <br />inciuded in the lump sum cont�act price. <br />FJI costs for installing conduit containing both signal and illumination wiring sha'I be included in <br />the contract prices for the signal system. <br />All costs for installing junction boxes containing both illumination and signal wiring shall be <br />inciuded in the contract prices for the signal system. <br />All costs for adjustment of junction boxes, both to the final grade and any grade adjustments <br />required for the various consUuction stages proposed in the Contract, or for altemative stages <br />proposed by the Contractor, shall be included in lhe lump sum contrect price for the associated <br />electrical system. <br />Grounding Existing Junctir�n Box" shall be incidental to the illumination system and no additionai <br />payment will be made. <br />Page 44 of 50 <br />
