No payment <br />shall be made by the Ciry for any expenses incurred or work done following the effective <br />date of termination untess authorized in writing by the City. <br />'7, han es. The City may, from time to time, require changes in the sccpe of the services <br />of the Contractor to be performed hereunder. Such changes, including any increase or <br />decrease in the amount of the Contractor's compensation, which aze mucually agreed upon <br />by and between the City and the Contractor, shall be incorporated in written amendments <br />to this Agreement. <br />8. Sublettine/Assienment of Contracts. Contractor shall not sublet or assign any of the <br />work covered by this Agreement without the express written consent of the Ciry. <br />9. Indemn_ i_ fic=tion• The Contractor hereby agrees to save the City, its officers, employees <br />and agents hazmless and indemnify them from all loss, claims or damage occasioned to <br />the City, its officers, employees, or agents or to any third person or properry by reason of <br />any negligent act or omission of the Contractor, iu employees. subcontractors or agents <br />which arises as a result of chis Agreement, and shall, aRer reasonable notice thereof, <br />defend and pay the expense of defending any claim or suit which may be commenced <br />against the City, iu officers, employees or agents, or any third person alleging injuries to <br />person and/or damage to property by reason of such negligent act o; omission and will <br />pay any judgment which may be obtained against the Ciry, its o�cers, employees, agenu <br />or third persons in such suit(s).
