A tide gate is in place on the outfall manhole which will prevent tide water <br />from backing into the storm system. There will, however, be an increase of flow for a <br />short period of time during an event that produced a storm greater than the six month <br />storm at a period of high tide. Statistically this will occur once every four years for <br />up to three hours. The increase of flow, from a storm greater than the six month <br />design storm, would vary from 0 to 2 efs during that period. <br />COMMENTS FRON" PAGE OF PLANS (Kirk Brooks) <br />Easement documents required <br />Easement documents for both the water and sewer facility are required, as well as the <br />vacation of portions of the existing easements, where the proposed hotel is to be <br />constructed. The legal descriptions for each are enclosed. The easement forms and <br />descriptions have been provided to the Port for execution. <br />Cost estimate required for permit fee <br />Our opinion of probable construction costs is enclosed. Please note, however, that <br />much of this cost is for the relocation of existing facilities. <br />Fire marshal's review required <br />The fire marshal's office has requested that an additional fire hydrant be installed at <br />the proposed entrance from Marine View Drive as shown on the enclosed May 30, <br />1995, fax mono. This hydrant has been added to the Sanitary Sewer & Water <br />Relocation P!,n. <br />Need mylars for signatures <br />Three sat.; of prints are enclosed for permit processing. Mylars will be provided to <br />the City upon completion of the project.
