Furthermore, the 30-day period will not <br /> sl:art until Lhe wetland delineation has been cmnpleted. <br /> (f) 14iticlation: Factors that the District Engineer will consider when <br /> �leLermi�iiii� tiie acceptability of appro�riate and practicable miti�ation <br /> 3.nclurle, but are not limited to: <br /> (1) To be practicable, the miticlation must be available and capable of <br /> belnn done con;idering costs, existinn tecY�nology, end loqistics in light of <br /> overall prolect purposes; <br /> (2) To tlie extent appropr.iate, permittees should consider mitigation <br /> banl<3ng and other forms oP mitigation includin� contri6utions to wetland trust <br /> funds, which contribute to the restoration, creation, replacement, <br /> enli2ncemenY., or �reservation of wetlands. <br /> Furthermore, examples of mitigation that may be appropriete and practir,ahle <br /> inr.lude b�.it are not limited to: reducinq the size of the pro,iect; establishina <br /> huffer zones to protect equatic resource values; and replacing the loss of <br /> aquatic resource values by creatinq, restoring, and enhancinc� similar func- <br /> tions and values.
