Dutch Bros. Coffee Stormwater Site Plan Everett, Washington
Section 4 - Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
All new development and redevelopment projects are responsible for preventing erosion and
discharge of sediment and other pollutants into receiving waters during construction. The
proposed project has less than 1 acre of land disturbing activity and is not part of a larger
common plan of development or sale that disturbs an acre or more of land; therefore, the
project is required to submit a small parcel Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
to the City, as set forth in the City's Design and Construction Standards and Specifications,
Section 2.
All erosion and sediment control measures shall be governed by the requirements of the City of
Everett. A Small Parcel Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (SPESCP) has been prepared to assist
the contractor in complying with these requirements. The SPESCP will be included with the
construction plans.
The five (5) Small Parcel Requirements are as follows:
1. Provision of a Construction Access Route
• BMP ES.60 Construction Road Access
o Gravel or crushed rock shall be applied to the driveway area and vehicle traffic
restricted to this one route. Driveway paving can be installed directly over the
gravel. This measure will help prevent soil from adhering to tires and stop soil
from washing into the street. This construction access requires periodic
inspection and maintenance including washing, topdressing with additional
stone, reworking and compaction.
2. Stabilization of Denuded Areas
• BMP ES.70 Soil Stabilization
o Soil stabilization measures protect soil from the erosive forces of raindrop impact
and flowing water. Acceptable measures include establishing vegetation by
sodding or seeding, mulching with two tons of straw per acre or approved equal,
plastic or other impervious covering staked to the ground or anchored with rocks
or sandbags, and the early application of gravel base on areas to be paved.
3. Protection of Adjacent Properties
• Mark Clearing Limits
o Prior to beginning land disturbing activities, including clearing and grading,
clearly mark all clearing limits, sensitive areas and their buffers, and trees that are
nAni Anon n o
