65') <br /> b. Access - Applicant has agreed to provide a 20 foot wide access <br /> along the western side of the property for fire access to the <br /> drafting station. No turnaround will be required since the <br /> majority of the storage area will be covered with asphalt driving <br /> surface. Signs stating "No Parking - Fire Lane - Keep Clear" must <br /> be provided the length of the access •to the drafting station. <br /> Striping or other means of identifying the fire lane may be <br /> necessary as well. <br /> • <br /> c. Flammable Liquid Storage - If any fuel storage is to occur on <br /> premises, it must be in compliance with Uniform Fire Code, 1988 <br /> edition, Article 79. <br /> • <br /> d. Portable Fire Protection - The Fire Department recommends a <br /> minimum of two UL rated 4A-60BC extinguishers be available on <br /> site. Smaller units may satisfy the minimum code requirements, <br /> but experience has shown that the large chip handling vehicles and <br /> equipment produce fires that are frequently too large for them. <br /> e. Premises Identification - A sign indicating the correct address <br /> must be provided at or near the main entrance to the property. <br /> f. Entry - When access to or within a structure or an area is unduly <br /> difficult because of secured openings or where immediate assess is <br /> necessary for life saving or fire-fighting purposes, the Fire <br /> Department may recommend or require a key box be installed in an <br /> accessible location. A rapid entry system may also be desirable <br /> in order to avoid unnecessary damage while making entry to any <br /> building during an emergency situation. <br /> g. Prior to any fill of the site, the proponent must provide the Planning <br /> Department with the following information: <br /> a. physical, chemical, and biological character of the landfill <br /> material; <br /> b. source of landfill material; <br /> c. method of placement and compaction; <br /> d. type of proposed surfacing; <br /> e. method of perimeter erosion control; and <br /> f. proposed use of the filled area. • <br /> 17. Signs - compliance with the Shoreline Master Program Use Regulations for <br /> Signs (Exhibit 5) and Section 36.170(B), Sign Category B, of the Zoning <br /> Code (Attachment 3) is required. <br /> 18. Flood Fringe Overlay District - compliance with the Flood Fringe section <br /> of the Zoning Code, Section 30.040(C), Development Standards and Section <br /> 30.050, Standards for Flood Hazard Reduction (Exhibit 6) is required. <br />
