Diesel Retrofit Grant Agreement No. G0700022 <br /> between the Washington State Department of Ecology and City of Everett <br /> and RECIPIENT approved work order. <br /> • Request an invoice voucher from the contractor for the retrofit equipment <br /> purchased and installed. <br /> • Verify and certify that the retrofit project has been installed; then pay the <br /> contractor. <br /> • Submit an Al 9-1 A invoice voucher along with a copy of the contractor's invoice to <br /> the DEPARTMENT Fiscal Contact for reimbursement. To expedite your <br /> reimbursement, this should be done as soon as the contractor's invoice has <br /> been verified and certified. <br /> • Receive payment from the DEPARTMENT. <br /> Task 1. Deliverables: <br /> • Approved work orders. <br /> • Invoice Vouchers that reflect verification of complete and satisfactory retrofit <br /> installations. <br /> Task 1. Date Due: June 30, 2007 <br /> PART 5. SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br /> • Local governments including cities, counties, or municipal associations, (including port and <br /> transit authorities) within the State of Washington that own heavy-duty vehicles and <br /> equipment are eligible for this grant program. <br /> • All types of heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment with engines greater than 75 <br /> horsepower may be eligible for retrofit funds; however, final vehicle eligibility is contingent <br /> on technical considerations. Vehicles must be registered to the local government and <br /> have an estimated lifespan of at least three remaining years within the government fleet. <br /> • Technologies eligible for the grant program may include a variety of vehicle-specific retrofit <br /> technologies. <br /> • All retrofit technologies must be approved by either the US Environmental Protection <br /> Agency (EPA) or the California Air Resources Board's (ARB) Retrofit Verification Programs. <br /> Funds will not be provided for alternative fuels such as ultra-low sulfur diesel, biodiesel, or <br /> compressed natural gas Information on verified retrofit technologies can be found on the <br /> web: <br /> EPA: http://www.epa.qov/otaq/retrofit/retroverifiedlist.htm <br /> ARB: http://www.arb.ca.qov/diesel/verdev/verdev.htm. <br /> • Both the DEPARTMENT and the RECIPIENT must provide written approval of work orders <br /> specifying the vehicles and retrofit equipment before installations can occur. <br /> • No matching funds are required for the purchase and installation of the retrofit <br /> technologies. 9 <br /> Page 4 of 6 <br />
