A copy of the
f) list is attached. The list of additional vegetation for
m,f biofiltration swales was written for a one foot wide swale.
 • c Given that the swales on this site are designed to be wider
than one foot wide, the specification for each vegetation
„ `' , type must be changed from 25 clumps per lineal foot of
U' + swale" to 25 clumps per sauare foot of swale".
l
Stormwater detention is required for the portion of the
parking lot expansion area that does not naturally drain to
Boeing's detention and water quality facilities on the main
fork of Powder Mill Creek. Current City requirements must
be met. The City will determine the required detention
V' volume and release rates if the area discharging to the
existing detention pond is greater than 5 acres. If this i.s
the case, the following information must be submit•ted: area
of thc site, dimensions of the site, slope of the site
(existing and proposed) , and the percentaqe of impervious
surfacea (existing and proposed) . If the area fs smaller
than 5 acres, a drainaqe calculation submission form mnst be
completed and submitted by the applicant.
The existing detention pond to the north must continue to
provide the design volume and release rates for the roads
and parkinq areas that have been constructed on the Fluke
property. Some extra volume in the pond mav be available,
as the facility included extra detention volume for
✓ buildings that have not been constructed. However, if this
additional volume is to be applied toward Boeing's detention
requirements, a letter from Fluke will be necessary
indicating that they have forfeited the detention volume for
the buildings. It is likely that additional detention
volume will still be needed to meet current standards.
Options could include modification of the existing pond or
underground detention in the parking lot.
  .U ' f Per current City standards, a 15-foot wide gravel access
c - 4,- road with a minimum compacted thickness of six inches must
,<< ^ i-v' be provided for vehicular traffic to the bottom of the pond.
 ,1 v C, ,9c The maximum slope of the road is allowed to be 6: 1 (N:V) . A
15-foot wide all weather surface (crushed rock or better)
"` ✓ must also be provided to the restrictor catch basin. These
two standards may require an easement from Fluke for access
to the pond from one of their roads.
All ponds with a maximum depth greater than three fE t are
required to be fenced with a six foot high perimeter fence
" unless one of the following conditions is met:
