The submittals shall be coordinatad with the 5 rsquirements of the Work and the contract documents. If there is a deviation i 6 from the requirements of the contrect documents, the submittal transmittal shail 7 ciearly indicate the deviation. See Special Provision SUBSTITUTIONS for 8 related information. � � I10 The Contractor is not relieved of responsibility for errors and omissions in 11 s�bmittals by the Engineer's review or approval of submittals. Furthermore the 12 Contractor is not relieved of responsibility for deviations from the requirements 13 of the contract documents due to the Engineer's review or approval of 14 submittals. 15 16 The Conlractor shall not proceed with any work where submittals are required 17 until submittals are retumed with the Engineer's stamp and initials indicating 18 review and approval. I 19 20 Color Selection 21 Tha Contractor shall submit to the Engineer or Architect all items that require 1 22 color selections at one time. This submittal shall be scheduled a minimum of 23 30 days before the reviewed submittals are needed by the Contractor to avoid 24 delays. The submittal for color selection shall include but is not limited to: , 25 sealants, plastic laminate, identifying devices, paints and stains, aluminum , 26 finishes, roofing, siding, and flooring. 27 28 Schedule of Submittals 29 The Contractor shall submit a schedule of submittals using the Record of � 30 Material and coordinate it with the Project Construction Schedule. The 31 schedule shall designate review times in accordance with Section 1-05.3 or as ! 32 indicated otherwise in the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions.
