Applicable standards sucli as A/�SHTO or ASTM number or Federal <br /> 11 specification. <br /> 12 8. Deviations from contract documents clearly indicated. <br /> i 13 9. Bid item number. <br /> ( 14 10. Submittals required per the Technical Provisions (Appendix B) shall be <br /> 15 identified by the Specification Section number (i.e. "Submittal 05500- <br /> � 16 01", "Submittal 05500-02", etc) <br /> � 17 <br /> 18 Resubmission Requirements <br /> I 19 The contractor �hall revise andlor supplement the initial submittal as required <br /> f 20 and clearly indicate the changes made. VJhere a <br /> 30 partir,ular component of a mechanical and/or electrical systems is specified by a <br /> I 31 manufacturer's name and part number herein or on lhe Plans, it is so specified to <br /> 32 establish quality, performance, capacity, fit-up, configuration, and arrangement of parts. <br /> 33 <br /> � 34 An equivaient item made by another manufacturer may be substituted for the specified <br /> { 35 item, subject to approval by the Engineer in writing, except where "no substitutions" or <br /> 36 "no exceptions" is stated. <br /> 37 <br /> i 38 Substitution Request <br /> 39 The Contractor shall submit a written request for proposed substitutions in accordance <br /> � 40 with requiremenls of Speciai Provision SUBMITTALS and Section 1-05.3 of the Standard <br /> 41 Specifications. <br /> � 42 <br /> � 43 Each submittal shall include the following information: <br /> 44 1. Complete data on the proposed sub�''tution. <br /> 45 a. Producl identification, including manufacturer's name and address. <br /> 46 b.
