I I 1 Submittals 2 The Contractor shall note as-built information on the record drawings concurrent with � 3 construction. The Contractor shall make record drawings available to lhe Contracting 4 Agency for informal review on a monthly basis. The Contracting Agency will conduct 5 their informal review between the 20th and last day of each month, and prior to r 6 determining partiat payments. During the ini�rmal review, the Contractor shall fully I 7 cooperate with the Contracting Agency. 8 � 9 Within twenty days after Substantial Completion, the Contractor shall submit two final 10 draft hardcopies of the record drawings for approval. The Enyineer will not conduct the 11 final inspection per Section 1-05.11 prior to receiving this submittal. The record drawings 12 will be utilized by the Engineer in conducting the final inspection. Within 15 days I 13 following the finel inspection, the Engineer will either retum one copy of the record 14 drawings to the Contractor for revision and resubmittal or indicate acceptance of the 15 submittal by providing the Coniractor with written notification of the Completion Date of f 16 the contract granted all of the requirements for Section 1-08.5 are met. Upon final I 17 acceptance of the record drawings, the Contrar.tor shall submit the original reproducible 18 record drawings. ( 19 20 The Contractor shsll also include a set of approved record drawings in manuals as 21 required in OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS. � 22 23 Construction Requirements 24 Record drawings shall be maintained on site and kept current with construction � 25 progress. These plans shall be used solely for the purpose of noting as-built 26 information. 27 28 Record drawings shali identi(y ali plan revisions and their respective request for � 29 infcrmation number(RFI No.)or approved change order number, if applicable. 30 31 Drawings should reflect the same degree of detail as the original plan drawings. 32 33 Revisions are to be made by lining out features that were changed during construction 34 and then correcting them. These revisions are to be piaced onto the plans in a manner � 35 that results in neat and legible sheets.
