I1 d. Percentages of estimate costs for items to be tumed over to the Port such as <br /> 2 tools, spare parts, operation and maintenance manuals, training, <br /> ` 3 manufacturer's warranties, and required certifications. This percentage shall <br /> � 4 not be less than 5 percent of the lump sum bid item price unless specific <br /> 5 documentation is submitted to justify a lower percentage. <br /> I 6 <br /> 7 e. Percentages for estimated indirect costs inciuding Project O�ce, District Office, <br /> 8 and Home Office overhead, and business occupation taxes as a part of the <br /> 9 lump sum item price. <br /> i ,o <br /> 11 f. Percentage for profit shall be considered as distributed throughout the direct <br /> 12 costs for items a, b, c, and d above. <br /> I 13 <br /> 14 After Engineer's approval of the Contractor's complete breakdown, and as item work <br /> 15 progresses, the Contractor shall initiate requests for partial payment by submitting to the <br /> I 16 Engineer a monthly estimate of the percentage of progress to date, the percentages <br /> 17 previously paid, and the percentages of payment requested for the current estimate. <br /> 18 The estimate format shall present the approved partial payment breakdown in a clear <br /> I 19 tabular form and be submitted at least five calendar days prior to the progress estimate <br /> 20 cut-of(date. <br /> 21 <br /> I 22 <br /> 23 SURVEYING <br /> � 24 The Contractor shall be responsible for setting and maintaining all alignment and <br /> 25 elevations necessary for the construction of the structures, except for the survey control <br /> 26 data to be furnished by the Contracting Agency. All calculations, surveying materials, <br /> 27 and measuring required for setting and maintaining the necessary lines and grades shall <br /> � 28 be lhe Coniractor's responsibility. The Contractor shall provide a copy of such <br /> 29 calculations and other data to the Contracting Agency when requested by the Engineer. <br /> 30 A copy of the Contracting Agency provided survey control data is available for the <br /> I 31 bidder's inspection at the office of the Project Engineer. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Any surveying done for the project that does not fit field conditions will be reviewed and, <br /> � 34 if necessary, adjusted by the Engineer. Any necessary revision wiil be provided lo the <br /> 35 Contractor for use in completing the work. <br /> 36 <br /> I 37 To facilitate the establishment of alignment and elevations, the Contracting Agency will <br /> 38 provide the Contractor with the following survey control: <br /> 39 <br /> � 40 1. An elevation bench mark and two points on the voork line. <br /> 41 2.
