i <br /> � 1 Remova/of Bridges, Box Culverts, and Other Drainage Structures <br /> 2 Section 2-02.3(2) is supplemente� ��iin the following: <br /> j 3 <br /> � 4 The Contractor shall remove existing catch basins and drainage structures where <br /> 5 shown in the Plans or where designated by the Engineer. The resultant void shall <br /> � � be backfilled with material approved by the Engineer and the material compacted to <br /> 7 the satisfaction o( the Engineer. These items shall be paid for as "Removal of <br /> 8 Structures and Obstructions," which price shall be full pay for the remova! and <br /> I 9 disposal of the existing drainage structure. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 i-�II grates, frames and covers shall remain the property of the Contractor and will be <br /> � 12 hauled from the project by the Contractor. The Contractor shall exercise reasonable <br /> 13 care in the removal and salvaging of existing grates, frames and covers and shall <br /> 14 stockpile the salvaged grates, frames and covers in locations desiynated by the <br /> � 15 Engineer as necessary. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Removal of Signs (New Section) <br /> 18 Section 2-02.3(4) <br /> (, 19 <br /> 20 The Contractor shall remove all existing signs shown in the Plans or where <br /> 21 designated by the Engineer and salvaged for the City of Everett. The Contractor <br /> ( 22 shall exercise reasonable care in the removai and salvaging of existing signs and <br /> � 23 shall stockpile the salvaged signs in locations designated by the Engineer as <br /> 24 necessary. All signs shall remain the property of the City of Everett and will be <br /> ( 25 hauled from the project by the City of Everett. All salvaged sings shall be stockpiled <br /> 1 26 in a location designated by the Engineer.
