This pay item will not be used to pay for repairs or 8 remediation of damage resulting from the Contractor's work on other items in the � 9 Contract. 10 11 Costs associated with other removal work identified in the Plans and not addressed 12 elsewhere in the Special Provisions shall be included in other bid items. � 13 14 DISPOSAL OF CREOSOTED MATERIALS � 15 The Contractor shall dispose of all creosoted timber 2nd associated debris as shown in 16 the Plans and as described in the Provisions under REMOVAL OF STRUCTURES. 17 � 18 All creosoted material, pile stubs and associated sediments shall be disposed of by the 19 Contractor in a landfill which meets lhe liner and leachate standards of the Minimum 20 Functional Standards, Chapter 173-304 WAC. The Contractor will be required to provide � 21 receipts from the disposal facility to the Project Engineer. ' 22 23 Measurement � 24 The approximate quantity oi material in this item is as follows: � 25 26 10 timber pile stubs � 27 28 The quantity is listed only for the convenience of the Contractor in determining the 29 volume of work involved and is nol guaranteed to be accurate.
