Because the <br />mechanical plant for +.he treatment of the sewage must be <br />located adjacent to the treatmenC oond, no alCernative <br />1oca+.ions were studied for the mechanical p1anC. Based <br />upon the available information the City delermined lhat <br />l.he lagoon, as pzoEosed, rrhich will consume <br />approximalely 7.4 acres of weklands will be the most <br />reasonable and the least disruptive localion for the <br />lagoon p1anC. The mechanical lreatment facility will be <br />installed adjacent lo the pond. The Cily has recommended that a detailed <br />landscaping plan should be review��d and approved by lhe <br />Everett Plannina Depaclmenl prior to i.he issuance of any <br />building permils.
