Sewer facilities necessary to transport sewage to the water pollution <br />control facility; and <br />e. �Vater transmission and distribution lines, natural gas lines, and electric <br />power lines, crossing the Snohomish River or other water bodies. <br />Findings: The proposed building is a non-water-oriented utility whicli will be <br />placed �vithin the city's WPCF. <br />Conclusions: Since the buiiding is part of an expansion of the WPCF, there is no <br />need to demonstrate that there are other options available to locate out te the <br />shoreline area. <br />3. Where utility construction or maintenance acfivities will resuit in disruption <br />of shoreline vegetation, drvelopment plans s6a11 include provisions for <br />temporary soil stabilization during construction and for restorution of the site <br />to preconstruction appearance upon completion of the projecL Buffers shall be <br />re-established and.�or enhanced as required by the SMP. <br />Findiogs: The building �vill be located over 100 feet from the shoreline. <br />Conclusious: No shoreline vegetation will be disturbed. <br />4. New utility installations in the shorcline areas shall bc designed and installed <br />to be aesthetically pleasing, and not significantly impact views of the s6oreline. <br />Findings: The 35-foot tall building will be located east of the Snohomish River. <br />Views of the Snohomish River from residences to the west of the Snohomish River <br />will not be impacted. The building may be visible from some residences located <br />west of the Snohomish Rivcr. <br />4�� <br />
