ua <br />March 17, 1976 <br />Roll was called with all Councilmen vating yes except Councilman Michel- <br />son who voted no and C'ouncilmen Aldcroft, Ebert and Kinch who were ex- <br />cused. <br />Motion Carriecl <br />TRANS�Z� <br />Discussion was held regarding governmental agencies, such as P.U.D.. <br />Snohomish County, Port of Everett, etc. paying transit tax on their <br />employees, Uut no formal action was taken by the Council. .. <br />Councilmen Aldcroft and Ebert came in to the meeting at this time. <br />LEGZSLATIVE AIDE <br />Moved by Councilman Michelson, seconded by Councilman Langus to dispense <br />wihh.. the employment of a legislative aide. <br />Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes except Councilmen Ald- <br />croft and Ebert who voted no, anc: Councilman Kincn who was excused. <br />Motion Carrien <br />On motion the meeting recessed until 7:00 P.�`1• <br />Q <br />The Regular Meeting of the �verett City Council reconvened at 7:00 P.M: <br />in the Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, President Gipson pre- <br />siding. Upon Roll Call it was found that Mayor Anderson and all Council- <br />men were in attendance except Councilman Kinch who was excused. <br />Minutes of the meeting held March 10, 1976 were approved as printed. <br />LOAN OF POLICF. OFFICERS <br />Counc.ilmen Aldcroft and Ebert both questioned why the City was loaning <br />four police officers to the Sheriff's Department when the City was so <br />short on police personnel. <br />�. Eastman said this is a common practice bEtween police agencies and <br />that the City had told Prosecuting Attorney Schillberg that they wou13 <br />loan them four police officers if he requested it to assist in the in- <br />vestigation or the alleged criminal activities in Snohomish County. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />Councilman Rucker objected to communications beinq mknowledue ofethehe <br />Council's signature when in fact the Council had ne g <br />communication. <br />
