Indicate the minimum cfm of the system on the plans.
✓ For whole liouse exhaust by fan, specify the fan location(s), size(j), and sone rating of 1.5 at
0.1" water gauge or less(for fans within four feet of the interior intake grille).
(/ 5./1 Specify that the integrated forced-air ventilation system has a 6" diameter outdoor air inlet duct
connecting a terminal element on the outside of the building to the return plenum of the forced
air system including a damper. This system must be perfortnance tested prior to final inspection
with the intake duct labeled with the installer, tester and the actual CFM's measured at intake.
6: Specify all duct work in heat recovery ventilation systems not less than 6" diameter, and
balancing dampers and tlow measurement grids installed on the supply and retum.
Outdoor air is required to be supplied to all habitable rooms for all whole house ventilation
systems. Specify the type of outdoor air system including individual outdoor air inlets, forced-
air heating system, ducting or equivalent means.
Show outdoor air inlet type and locations on the plans with screened and secure opening not less
than four square inches. 302.6
Note on the plans that outdcor air inlets shall not be placed in the following locations:
a. closer than IU' from an appliance vent oudet, unless such vent outlet is 3' aSove the outduor
air inlet.
b.
