22.The plans should show that fire blocks shall bc provided in accordance with Section 708.2 in the following locations: a). In concealed spaces of stud walls and partitions, including furred spaces, at the ceiling and floor levels, and at 10-foot intervals along the length of the wall. b). At all interconnections between concealed vertical and horizontal spaces such as occur at soffits,drop^.eilings and cove ceilings. c). In concealed spaces between stair stringers at the top and bottom of the nm and betwcen studs along and in line with the tun of staits if the walls under the stairs are unfinished. d). In openings around vents, pipes,ducts,chimneys, fireplaces and similar openings which afford a passage for fire at ceiling and floor levels, with noncombustiblo materials. e). At openings between attic spaces and chimney chases for factory-built chimneys. 23.The public toilet room should have the wal(s within 2 feet of the water closets finished to a height of 4 feet with a smooth, hazd, non-absorbent surface. A weather resistive bazrier per Secdon 1402.1 should be shown for all ezterior locations(walls and roo�. 25.T'he GWB proposed for the outer layer of exterior fire-resisdve assemblies should be specified as Gypsum Sheathing. Secdon 2511.1 26. Balconies, landings, courts, occupied roofs and similar surfaces exposed to the weather and sealed underneath should be waterproofed and sloped a minimum of 1/4" per foot, or ponding calculations should be submitted.
