Permit Counter <br />In response to your comments on the plans, all revisions have been made as noted below: <br />1. The accessible parking stall must be van accessible and must meet the size requirements <br />of sec. 1107.2. The accessible parking stall has been changed to meet the van accessible <br />requirements. See sheet Al for change. <br />2. The main entrance must have an accessible route of travel to the accessible parking and <br />to the public way. This route may cross (within a designated crosswalk) driving lanes <br />but may not be within driving lanes. Sec. 1103.2.2, See.1107.1.6. A striped walkway has <br />been added along the building from the accessible parking stall to the front doors. <br />3. The pump island canopy must have a solid wall of one hour rated non-combustible <br />construction extending 30 inches above the roof with no openings gi must be set back <br />from the property Hae 20 feet. Table 5-A. The setback was changed to two feet off the <br />property line because of an adjacent alley. The canopy was moved two feet to the west to <br />meet the setback requirement. <br />4. The distance between the pump island canopy and the store must be increased to 40 feet <br />Ur one wall of either building must be one hour construction. Table 5-A The canopy is <br />a non-combustible structure therefore the required 40 feet does not apply in this situation. <br />5. A one hour occupancy separation wall must be provided between the pump island <br />canopy and the store 4L two exits not in the same wall conforming to See.1003 mast be <br />provided. Sec. 311.2.3.2. A second exit was added to the building to meet the requirements <br />of Section 1003. <br />
