Puget Sound Power 6 Light Co.
Special Pcoperty Use Permit 16-84
Page -6-
17. The existing facility has created problems of tatic for
televisLon and radio reception to adjacent pcoperty
owners. The Applicant has submitted that the new
development will eliminate any static related problems
and wil be beneficial to the adjoining prooerty owners.
18. Noise and gacGage have been problems fo the adjoining
property owners. The Applicant submitted that they
cannot control the motorbikes operating within the
property, but, would cooperate with the Everett Police
Department in controlling motor traffic over Puget
Power's utility easements.
19. It is the intent of the .4pplicant to surround the
subject property with a seven foot high chainlink fence
and woven wood slats with three strands of barded wire.
Section 19.42.020 of the Evezett Municipa3 Code
restricts fence heights to 42 inches in front yards and
72 i.nches in side and rear yards. The Applicant has
requested vaciances from these standards in order to
install aeven foot high chainlink £ence around the
facility.
2. The poposed fence will protect the unmanned facility
from vandalism and will protect the public from
potentially dangerous equipment. The chainlink fence is
necessay for the proper develcpment of this property.
23. The Everett Planni;9 Department has reconmended approval
of the Special Pr,perty Use Permit and the variance
subject to the following conditions:
