Provide connectivity or verification of connectivity for the southwest corner of the <br />house to the shear panels at the northwest corner. (Both roof and floor levels). (Line <br />R-3 in Calcs) <br />12. Provide detail of concrete porch at laundry room, show how it is attached to the new <br />foundation to resist differential settling. <br />13. Show on plans how new foundation will he attached to the existing foundation. <br />14. Provide header size carrying roof load at bay in kitchen. Bay roof is required to have <br />R-30 insulation. <br />15. Verify that existing window headers are adequate for new roof loading. <br />16. All footing shall rest on undisturbed soil. Show how the foundation at the bay in the <br />kitchen meets this requirement. <br />17. All nailing shall comply with table 23.11-B-1 or as specified by strucmrai enairecr <br />18. The space designated on the plans as storage would require a one -hour tire--esistite <br />assembly. The exception in Section 302.4 is specific to she occupan:y separation <br />between Group R, Division 3 and Group U occupancies. In either case, the window <br />within the storage (garage) is not allowed. <br />19. The detail for the slab on grade does not show a minimum width at the footing of 12" <br />or (2) #4 rebar continuous, in the footing. This would be required if the space were to <br />be enclosed with exterior walls. <br />20. Glue -laminated beams that are expoFed to the weather shall be exterior grade beams. <br />21.
