LIU & ASSOCIATES, INC.
Geoteohnic0l Engineering Engineering Geology.
March 7, 2011
Mr. Paul Thompson
Kolbear. Inc.
15028 — 228u' Street SE
Snohomish. WA 98296
Dear Mr. Thompson:
Subject: Geotechnical Engineering Study
Thompson Plat
36xx Seahurst Avenue
Everett. Washington
LRA Job No. I 1 -00 1
INTRODUCTION
Earth Science
C 13u55-C1C(
The subject property at the above address in Everett, Washington, is platted into three single-
fantily building lots. Lots 1 and 2 sit side by side in the northeast portion and Lot 3 lies in the
southwest portion of the plat site. We understand the development plan for the site is to
demolish the existing residence on Lot 1 and to build a new residence on each of the three lots.
A joint -use paved driveway is to be constructed along the south side of tots 1 and 2 and
extended to the cast end of Lot 3 to serve the three residences. We also understand that onsite
disposal of stomt runoff over impervious surfaces is being considered for these residences and
the joint -use driveway.
At your request, we have completed a geoicchnical engineering study for the proposed
development of the site. Subsurface condition of the site was explored and a feasibility
evaluation of onsite stormwater disposal completed.
