These standards apply to buildings with 3 or <br /> more stories. <br /> STANDARDS: <br /> 9.5.1. Base —The base should have the richest collection of materials to create <br /> visual and textural complexity at eye level. Masonry cladding in some form (on <br /> walls, pilasters, or a plinth) is strongly encouraged. Other methods could include <br /> one or more of the following: <br /> a) windows, <br /> b) details, <br /> c) canopies, <br /> d) bays, <br /> e) overhangs, <br /> f) artwork, <br /> g) masonry strips, <br /> h) cornice lines. <br /> 9.5.2. Middle —The middle should include elements such as: <br /> a) windows, <br /> b) signage. <br /> 9.5.3.
