INTLGRU
A H C H I I E C r U A E
Trinity Lutheran College
Port Gardner Building Renovation
- Kitchen: May have Type I hood. Can use zero clearance duct wrap.
Will need to be sprinklered. Check routing re: property line.
d. Exiting: Current existing exiting appears to be fine.
e. Corridors: Non -rated under IBC
I. Elevator Lobbies: Not required under 2004 IBC if not connected w/ rated
exit enclosure, but this may be revised in 2006, Tony advised looking into.
- Alternatives include Smokeguard roll -down covers over hoist way
entrances, Wor Doors, new Elevator Lobbies, or pressurized elevator
shaft, which may trigger pressurized stairs.
g. Toilet Facilities: No changes required. Acceptable as is.
h. ADA: Basically OK as is. No improvements to existing ADA deficiencies, if
any.
- Maintain accessible main route &existing accessible features from '94
work.
Accessible Means of Egress not applied to existing buildings.
4. Public Works:
a. Industrial Pretreatment: Need to talk to them about the Kitchen. They are
strict about grease in the waste stream, trap or interceptor may be
required.
5. OK to leave existing area not
being worked on as long as the existing FA system talks to the new
system. Suggests reviewing proposal w/ Rick Robinson.
c.
