PORT OF EVERETT <br />[J[VION SLOUGH MARSH MITIGATION <br />12. <br />�'� <br />13. <br />, <br />L� <br />1 <br />� <br />Decreased Ouantit�es <br />SECTION 00800 <br />SUPPLEMENTARY CONDIT[ONS <br />Add a new paragraph 'urvnediately after 11.10 of the General Conditions which is to reaa <br />as follows: <br />"i l. ] I Decreased Ouantities <br />"The PORT reserves the right to decrease the quantity of any item or portion of <br />the work or to nmit portions of t:ie work; also to make such alterations or <br />deviations, additions to, or omissions form the pians and speci6ca:ions as may be <br />determined during the progress of the work ro be necessary and advisable for the <br />proper compktion thereof. There shall be no ronegotiation of unit prices for <br />underruns of quantities of spccific bid items unkss tho antire Convac: cost <br />estimate is underrun by fifteen paeent (159b) of the rotal estimated original cost <br />stated in the Contract and if the specific bid item to be ronegotiated underran the <br />estimate stated quantity for such item by greater than thirty percent (30�Ro). Where <br />both conditions exist, the CONTRACCOR may request a renegotiation of the <br />specific bid item which has underrun greater than thirty percent (3096). [f a <br />renegotiation is in order under the temu of this Artick, the CON7'RACI'OR shall <br />receive the unit price speci6ed in the Contract for that amount perfomiecl or <br />installed. In addition theteto, the CON'CRACTOR shall receive an allowance for <br />overhead costs for the amount underrun. That overhead allowance shall be <br />deemed to be ten percent (]0�90) of the unit price for the arraunt represented by <br />the difference between that actually installed or completed and that set fonh in the <br />Contrect estimate." <br />Project Schedule <br />The project shall be completed according to the following schedule: <br />Substantial Completion - On or Bofore 210 Calendaz Days after Notice-to-Proceed <br />Final Completion -On or Beforo 30 Days After Substantial Completion <br />The Contractor shall prepare a detailed p:oject construction schedule and sub���t it to the <br />Engineer within 10 calendaz days following issuance of the Notice-to-Procad. The <br />schr;dule shall be updated and re-submitted to the Engineer monthly throughout <br />construction. <br />The project schedule shall be in the fom� ue _. activiry-on-arrow diagram Critical Path <br />Method (CPM) schedule. <br />Activities shall be represented by an arrow an�t designated by a stazting and ending <br />node number.
