PORT UF EVERETT SECTION 01030 <br />UMON SLOUGH MARSH MITIGATION FIELD ENG[NEERING <br />3. EstabGsh clearing limits, placing stakes at all angle points and a� intermediate <br />points not more than 50 feet apart. <br />� 4. Establish g�ading limits, placing slope stakes at centerline increments not more <br />than 50 feet apart. EstabGsh offset reference to ail sl�pe stakes. <br />5. Establish the horizontal and vertical location of all drainage features, placing offset <br />stakes to all drainage structures and to pipes at a horizontal interval not greater <br />than 25 feet. <br />6. Establish berm and surfacing ekvations by placing stakes at the top of subgrade <br />and at the top of each course of surfacing. Subgrade and surfacing stakos shall be <br />set at horizontal intervals not greater than 50 fat in tangent sections, 25 fat in <br />curve sections with a radius less than 300 feet; and at 10-foot intervaLs in <br />intersection radu with a radius less than IO feet. Transversely, stakes shall be <br />placed at all locations where the roadway slope changes and at additional points <br />such that the uansverse spacing of stakes is not more than 12 feet. <br />Establish intermediate elevation benchrt�arks as needed to check work throughout <br />the project. <br />8. For all other types of construction ir�cluded in this provision, provide staking and <br />layout as necessary to adequately locate, construct, and check the specific <br />construction activity. <br />9. Preparing cross sections for measurement of berm fill material and excavation azea <br />berm fill material. <br />10. Perform survey of berm to determine azeas of settlement. Refer to Article 3.3 for <br />other requirements. <br />E. The Conaactor shall provide the OWNER copies of any calculations and staking data <br />when requested by the Gnginar. <br />13 UMT PRICES <br />A. The lump sum convact price for "Surveying" shall be full pay for all labor, equipment, <br />materials, and supervision utilized to perform the work specified, including any <br />resurveying, checking, cortection of eaors, replacement of missing or damaged stakes, <br />and coordination efforts. <br />B. The lump sum contract price for "Settlement Surveying" shall be full pay for all labor, <br />equipment, materials, and supervision utilizul to perform the work specified, including any <br />01030-2 <br />
