A unique number, sequentially assigned, shall be noted on the transmittal form <br />ac�ompanying each item subrttitted. Original submittal numbers shall have the <br />following fomiat: "JQO{"; where "X)p{" is the sequential number assigned by <br />C�WTRACI'OR. ResubmittaLs shall have the following forrtwt: "XXX-Y"; when <br />"X.�QC" is the originally assigned submittal number and "Y" is a sequentiai letter <br />assi��� for resubmittals, ie., A, B, or C being the lst, 2nd, and 3rd resubmittals, <br />resp��ctively. Submittal 25B, for exart�ple, is the second resubrttittal of submittal <br />25. <br />B. Deviaaon from Contract: If the COIVTRACi'OR proposes to provide material or <br />equipment which does not conform to the specifications and contract drawings, he shall <br />indicate so under "deviations" on the transmittal foim accompanying thc submitwl. He <br />shall explain the reason for the change, shall include cost differential, and shall requesc a <br />change order to cover the devietions. <br />C. <br />1.4 <br />A. <br />B. <br />C. <br />D. <br />1.5 <br />Subrtrittal comploteness: 5ubmittalc which do not have adequate information are not <br />acceptable and will be retumed without review. <br />FORWARDING S[JBMITTALS <br />Drawings: <br />� <br />ka <br />Submit sepia reproducibk and three opaque reproductions. Roll nproducibk; do <br />not fold. The reproducible and one reproduction will be returned to the <br />CONTRACCOR. <br />Drawings shall be 22 inches by 34 inches. <br />Standazd submittal sius shall be 8-1/2 by I 1 inches, 11 by 17 inches, and 22 by <br />34 inches. <br />Product data: Submit the number of copies which the CON7RACTOR requires plus three <br />which will be retained by the ENGINEER. <br />Samples: submit the number or quantity stated in the speci5cation section. <br />CertiScations: certificates will be acknowledged. No copy will be returned. <br />REVIEW PROC£DURE <br />A. Within 10 days aher receipt of the submittal, the ENGINEER will roview the submittal <br />and return the mazked-up reproducible original, unless otherwise speci5ed, <br />B.
