[f the review indicates that the material, equipment, or worlc method is in general conformance with the design concept and complies with the contract drawings and specifications, the submittal copies will be marked "NO EXCEPTIONS TAKEN". In this event the COIVTRACTOR may begin to impkment the work method or incorporate the material or equipment covercd by the submittaL 2. If the review indicates that the submittal is insufficient or that limited correc.ans are required, the submittal copies will be merked "NOTE MARI�VGS". The CO VTRACTOR may begin impkmenting the work method or incoiporating the material or equipment covered by the submittal, in accordancx with the noted correr.tions. Where submittal informacion will be incotporated in operation and mvntenance data, a corrected copy shall be provided within 30 days, otlkrwise no furthcr acrion will be required. 3• If the revicw reveals that dx subrttittal is insufficient or contains incorrect data, the submittal copies will be rt�ariced "CONA�IV7'S ATTACEIED". If the cortments are of a nature that can be confim�ed without a resubmittal, the subrrtittal copies will be further marked "CONFIRM". If the comrtxnts require a revision and resubmittal, the subrrrittal copies will be further mazked "RESUBMIT", Except at his own risk, the CONTRACTOR shall not undertalce work covered by this submittal until the attached commenu have been either conSmKd by a separate written communication or the subrttittal has been avised, resubrttined, and rotumed marked either "NO EXCEPTIONS TAKEN" or "NOTE MARKINGS". 1.6 EFFECT OF REVIEW OF CONTRACI'OR'S SUBMITTALS A. Review of drawings, methods of work, or information regarding materials or equipment the CONTRACCOR proposes to provide shall not niieve COIV'CRACTOR of his rosponsibility for e�rors therein and for failure to cortQly with the Contract Drawings and SpeciScations and shall not be regarded as an assumption of risks or liability by the PORT, or by any officer, employx or consultant of the PORT. COIV'TRACTOR shall havc no claim under the Contract because of the failure, or partial failure, of the method of work, material, or equipment so reviewed. A mark of "NO EXCEPTIONS TAKEN" or "NOTE MARKINGS" shall rtxan that the PORT has no objection to the CONfRACfOR using the plan or method of worlc proposed, or providing the materials or equipment proposed.
