Protect Work, adjacent property, public, and be responsibk for any damage or <br />injury azising from this convact due to actions or negkct. <br />B. Confine Work to areas dcsignated. Do not disnub existing vegetation outside of <br />project lumt lines. Repair or replace vegetation damaged as a rosult of <br />Conaact�r's operation to satisfaction of Owner at Contractor's expense. <br />C. Contractor shall be cognizant of all utility lines and underground obstructions. He <br />shall familiariu himself with all utiliry, icrigation, mechanical, and ekcaical plans <br />so that his digging/drilling operations do not damage lines. Repair or replacement <br />by original instalkr shall be made at Contractor's expense for all existing buildings, <br />equipment, underground utilities, irrigation equipment, paving, surfacing, stairs, <br />and/or forntc damaged as a result of Contractor's operations in a manner <br />satisfactory to the Owner befon 5na1 payment is made. <br />D. Protect plants, roots, balls, and tips at all times from injury in handling, from sun or <br />drying winds from beginning of digging operations, during transportation and on <br />site until final planting. <br />E. Provide all necessary safeguazds, as approved and/or requircd by the PORT for the <br />protection of all plantcd azeas until provisional review/acceptance is accomplished, <br />or for such time as it requires to assure vigorous establishrt�ent of the plant <br />material. <br />F[ELD QUALITY CONTROL AND INSPECTIONS <br />A. Notification; The Contractor shall give 48 hours notice to the PORT when a site <br />review is desired. <br />B. 5ite Reviews: <br />1. Finish Grades: PORT will review and approve 6nish gtade prior to any <br />planting or seeding. <br />2. Plant Material: PORT will review and approve all plant material at the site <br />priar to installation. Remove unsatisfactory material from the site <br />immediately. <br />3. Plant Locations: PORT will review, adjust and approve plant locations <br />prior to installation. <br />1 'll <br />
