Upon compktion of all planting and all other work (if any) required under this <br />contract, the Convactor shall request a provisional review. No partial approvals <br />will be given. <br />F[NAL REVIEW /ACCEPTAN.;E <br />A. The Contracror shall request a 6nal nview upon satisfactory compktion of �U <br />punch list items and other work requ'ved under this contract. F"mal review and <br />acceptance of the Work shall establish the begiruting of the maintenance and <br />guarantee period. <br />I.10 GUARANTEE REPLACEMENT <br />A. Plant Material: Guaranta in a healthy, thriving condition all trees and shrubs for <br />one year from date of 5na1 acceptance; all groundcover until active, vigorous <br />growth is evident. During the guerantee period, all dead, diseased, dying, broken <br />or disappeared plant materiaLs from any cause except those noted below shall be <br />replaced irturKdiately by the Convactor at no additional expense to the Owner. <br />Use specified plants and plant as specified; guarantee until active, healthy growth is <br />evident. <br />B. Contractor's Responsibility: During guazanta period, Contractor shall not be <br />responsibk for replacing plants dcstroyed or damaged by vandalism or accidents <br />caused by vehicks other than the Contractor's or Acts of God, provided that <br />Conaactor has exercised due care to protect Work. Should rcplacement fall due <br />during non-plantieg season, Convactor may rcquest Owner's permission to defer <br />planting until proper season. ff permission is granted, irtunedutely remove and <br />dispose of dead plants, 'u�cluding all roots. Hoks shall be bacldilkd properly with <br />planting mix and finish graded until proper planting season occurs. Plants used for <br />replacement shall be of sartie kind and siu originally planted, and they shall be <br />planted as originally specified. <br />1.11 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br />A. "Landscaping" shall include all work, including maintenance and watering, plant <br />material guazanta replacement, labor, material, and equipment for complete <br />tandscaping installation as shown on the Drawings.
