PORT OF EVERETT j UMON SLOI.'GH MARSH MITIGATTON I ARTiCLE 7- WORK BY OTF�RS SECTION 00700 GENERAL CONDITIONS 7.1 PORT may perform additional work related to the Project by himself, or have additional work perfom�ed by utility service companies, or kt other d�rect contracts therefor whi�;h shatl cont; in General Conditions similar to these. CONTRACTOR shnll afford �he utiliry service companies and the other contractors who are parties to such direct contracts (or PORT, if PORT is performing the additional wo�k with PORT's empbyas) reasonabk opFortunity for the inaoduction and storage of materials and equipment and the execution of work, and shall properly connect and coordinate his Work with the'vs. 7.2 If any part of CONTRACTOR's Work depends for proper execution or results upon the work of S any such other contractor or utility servia company (or POR'1�, CONTRACTOR shall inspect and promptly repon to BNGINEEFt in writing any patent or apparent defects or deficiencies in such work that render it unsuitable for such Qroper execution and resahs. CONfRACTOR's failure so to report � sliall constitute an acceptance of the other work as 6t and proper for integrarion with CONTRACTOR's Work except for latent or non-apparent defects and de5ciencies in the other work. 7.3 CONTRACI'OR shall do all cutting, fitting and patching of his Work that may be requ¢ed to make its several parts come together properly and integrate with such other work. CONTRACfOR shall not endanger any work of others by cutting, excavating or otherwise altering the'v work and will only cut or alter their work with the written con�ent of ENGINEER and the others whose wo�k will be affected. 7.4 If the performance af atiditional work by other convactors or utility service companies or PORT was not noted in the Conaact Documents, writ.cen notice thareof shall be given to COIVTRACTOR prior to starting any such additional work. PORT shall coordinate and schedule any such additional Work not noted in the ContraM Documents to avoid interferonce or conflict with ongoing or scheduled work by the CONTRACI'OR. 7.5 Bidders shall complete the "Subcontractor Work Listing" on the foim provided. Follow inswctions listed on the form Bidders shall submit a statement of proposed ekctrical and mechanical subcontractors within one hour o� the bid opening. A list of propused subcontractors, other than electrical and mechanical, shall be compkted and provided within 24 hours of a request by OWNER. Failure to comply may ronder the bidder's bid non-rosponsive. END AR7'[CLE 7
