AGENCIES WITH JURISDICTION <br /> NONE <br /> MITIGATION OF ADVERSE IMPACTS BY SEPA <br /> 1. Any gradinglfill on this sile shall be done so as lo not impact the surrounding properties. <br /> (SEPA Earth, Land and Shoreline Use Policies.) <br /> 2. No traffic mitigation (ee is due because of a reduction in o�-campus sludent population. <br /> 3. In order to minimize erosion, any spoii piles must be co�� ed with plastic sheeting or other <br /> impervious covering slaked to the ground or anchored w:'h rocks or sandbags. Berms, <br /> earthen or othenvisc, should be constructed at lhe perimeter of excavated areas to <br /> prevent adjacent site runotf irom entering lhc excavation. (SEPA Earth and Water <br /> Policies) <br /> 4. If contaminalion of lhe surrounding soils is discovered, and remediation will take place, an <br /> erosion conlrol plan rnusl be subriitted for approval by the Public Works Department. <br /> (SEPA East the Water Policies) <br /> 5. Broadway is designated as a "Ga!e, •��" corridor in the City's General Plan. The General <br /> Plan states, "Because Everett wanls to develop and promote an attractive image, all entry <br /> corridors into ihe City should be designaled as "Gateways" and standards should be <br /> applied to developmenls along such "Galeways" relating to buiiding design, landscaping, <br /> signage, ouldoor storage and olher aesthetic considera��ons that will serve to upgrade <br /> Everett's image." The City will work with the applicant to insure that the building design <br /> and Iandscaping are in keeping with lhe gateway corridor standards. (SEPA <br /> Tiansportation and Land Use Policies) <br /> The lead agency (or this proposal has determined thal it does not have a probabie significant <br /> adverse impact on Ihe environment. An Environmental Impact Slatement is not required under <br /> RCW 43.21 C.030(2)a This delermination assumes compliance wilh State iaw and City <br /> ' ordinances relaled to general environmental protection including bul not limited to right-of-way <br /> imNrovement requirements, drainage, etc. This decision was made after review of a completed <br /> environmental checklist and other in(ormalion on file with the lead agency. This in(ormation is <br /> available to the pubiic on request. This Mitigaled Determination of Non-Significance is <br /> specitically conditioned on compliance wilh the conditions attached hereto which are <br /> incorporated by re(erence as if fuily set forth herein. <br /> This Proposed MDNS is issued under 197-11-355. The City as the lead agency has determined <br /> that significant adverse environmentai impacts are unlikely; therefore Ihrough the optional DNS <br /> process, comments must be submilted by May 5, 2007, 200G or fourteen (14) days after the <br /> date sho�vn on the nolarized copy of the notice of posling, whichever dale is later. <br /> � u��� <br />
