Broadway is designated as a "Ga!e, •��" corridor in the City's General Plan. The General <br /> Plan states, "Because Everett wanls to develop and promote an attractive image, all entry <br /> corridors into ihe City should be designaled as "Gateways" and standards should be <br /> applied to developmenls along such "Galeways" relating to buiiding design, landscaping, <br /> signage, ouldoor storage and olher aesthetic considera��ons that will serve to upgrade <br /> Everett's image." The City will work with the applicant to insure that the building design <br /> and Iandscaping are in keeping with lhe gateway corridor standards. (SEPA <br /> Tiansportation and Land Use Policies) <br /> The lead agency (or this proposal has determined thal it does not have a probabie significant <br /> adverse impact on Ihe environment. An Environmental Impact Slatement is not required under <br /> RCW 43.21 C.030(2)a This delermination assumes compliance wilh State iaw and City <br /> ' ordinances relaled to general environmental protection including bul not limited to right-of-way <br /> imNrovement requirements, drainage, etc. This decision was made after review of a completed <br /> environmental checklist and other in(ormalion on file with the lead agency. This in(ormation is <br /> available to the pubiic on request. This Mitigaled Determination of Non-Significance is <br /> specitically conditioned on compliance wilh the conditions attached hereto which are <br /> incorporated by re(erence as if fuily set forth herein. <br /> This Proposed MDNS is issued under 197-11-355.
