The statement shall be signed by the private property owner, or <br /> proper authority acting for the owner of the private property affected, stating that <br /> permission has been granted to use the property and all necessary permits have been <br /> obtained or, in the case of a release, that the restoration of the property has been <br /> satisfactorily accomplished. The statement shall include the parcel number, address, <br /> and date of signature. Written releases must be filed with the Engineer before the <br /> Completion Date will be established. <br /> CNH 1-07.29 Community Project Liaison,docx <br /> 1-07.29 Community Project Liaison (CPL) <br /> (New Section) <br /> Section 1-07.29 is new and is supplemented with the following: I <br /> (******) <br /> 1-07.29(1) Description <br /> The Contractor will provide a full-time "construction liaison" (Community Project <br /> Liaison, CPL) primarily responsible for addressing the needs of residents, <br /> institutions, schools, businesses etc. affected by the construction activities. The <br /> CPL will also contact each property owner, in writing, where vegetation trimming is <br /> required and arrange Contractor trimming to improve sign visibility. The CPL will <br /> interface with the City of Everett, and, in particular, the inspector and construction <br /> manager. The CPL's role is intended to provide a single, responsive point of 111 <br /> contact for the public so as to minimize the involvement of the City staff in <br /> addressing issues that can readily be resolved directly by the Contractor. All of the <br /> work performed by the Contractor and coordinated by the CPL will occur on City of <br /> Everett rights of way. <br /> 1-07.29(3) Construction Requirements ' <br /> The CPL shall be readily accessible by telephone or in person during normal <br /> business hours and during all hours of work throughout the duration of the project. <br /> The CPL will be responsible for communicating to the City, any project information <br /> intended for the general neighborhood area, media or outside agencies. <br /> Examples of Construction Contractor and CPL responsibilities and interaction <br /> include, but are not limited to, the following: <br /> • CPL shall coordinate vegetation and tree trimming necessary to remove <br /> sight obstructions within a minimum 3' of any stop or yield sign, or as <br /> directed by the Engineer. The CPL shall make contact with each property <br /> owner where vegetation trimming is required on City rights of way and <br /> arrange an arborist to direct the work should it be deemed necessary.
